More About Newt Gingrich

Newt! Newt! Newt!

I wrote a little piece about Newt Gingrich yesterday, Monday, January 23, 2012, entitled So? What about Newt? Newt Gingrich, that is. Today, I have a couple more places for you to visit on the internet blogosphere to read more about Newt Gingrich.

Over at Writes Like She Talks, you may read what Jill Miller Zimon wrote in her entry Attention Newt Gingrich: You are not Russel Crowe.

And, then you may go over to Tilting at Windmills in order to read what CW Martin has written in his blog entry Tonight's Debate in which he gave his opinion of the Republican Presidential Candidates' Debate last night and in which CW Martin wrote Newt Gingrich: Once again proves himself the master debater.

So, if anyone reading my blog wishes to express something about Newt Gingrich, please feel free to write what you want in the coment section.

Thanks for the reference. I just looked at Jill's psot. She doesn't like Newt being combative, her choice. She was wrong about Santorum "not completely answering the oil-drilling-in FLA question." The answer was simple. If you don't have fuel that is affordable, you won't have tourists to worry about. We need cheaper fuel. If the fuel is in the gulf, that's where you have to drill. I understood, not sure what she missed. Also, I disagree with her on the "official language question." I though Ron Paul gave an excellent answer, and nobody gainsaid him on it.

I also have to question her definition of inept. To me, inept is the way Obama is approaching the job of president. Or the first 40 minutes of Brian Williams' questioning. But of course that is subjective (except the part where the economy is in such trashy shape and democrats control the White House and Senate. Your thoughts on the link between the two are subjective, but they ARE facts.)

Thanks for the link, Roland.

@CW:

1. Santorum gave the answer he wanted to - he did not respond to the journalist's very specific and direct question. That's a shame for Floridians who wanted to ask the same thing and get an answer. A missed opportunity for authenticity and a score for a skilled politician.

2. The definition of inept is not in doubt - you have simply described what you view as comporting with that definition, as did I.

#1- I'm not sure what more you wanted from Santorum. Did he need to wear a sign saying, "Yes, I'll allow drilling because it is in the best interests of the nation as a whole, including Florida"? Because that was his answer and I thought it answered the question pretty well.
#2- there you are right. Which is why I started that point with "to me". I just added some examples of my definition.
