Are You A Sarah Palin Fan?

Little Johnny is not a Palin fan

A teacher asked her 6th grade class how many of them were Palin fans. Not really knowing what a Palin fan is, but wanting to be liked by the teacher, all the kids raised their hands except for Little Johnny.

The teacher asked Little Johnny why he has decided to be different... again.

Little Johnny said, "Because I'm not a Palin fan."

The teacher asked, "Why aren't you a fan of Palin?"

Johnny said, "Because I'm a Democrat."

The teacher asked him why he's a Democrat.

Little Johnny answered, "Well, my Mom's a Democrat and my Dad's a Democrat, so I'm a Democrat."

Annoyed by this answer, the teacher asked, "If your mom were a moron and your dad were an idiot, what would that make you?"

With a big smile, Little Johnny replied, "That would make me a Palin fan."

MY VOTE IS FOR JOHNNY.

p.s. My thankful appreciation goes out to Jerry Rosen for bringing this cute little story to my attention.
Incidentally, I think that Little Johnny is wise way beyond his years.

I guess some people just do not think that others should be allowed to say what they want to say. Apparently, Mark Twain was correct in his comments about free speech.
Confused? Well, then, clear up that confusion and click on this to obtain a better understanding of that about which I just commented.

Given the liberal bent of the teaching profession these days, I think you could switch 'Palin" with "Obama" and "democrat" with "republican" and the story would be closer to something that actually happened.

CWM,
Thank you very much for your perspective, which I have duly noted and of which I understand from whence it comes. I respect your forthrightness and the fact the you have the courage of your convictions and voice the same.
There are various political viewpoints and perspectives, pros and cons from all sides, selective reasoning by many to justify their differing political viewpoints, and so on and so forth.
This is what the Founding Fathers understood and why our form of government was designed by them with the deliberate intent and purpose of making it a long and tedious process of passing national legislation, of amending our Constitution, etc. It forces deliberations by the legislators. While still not perfect, our system of government greatly safeguards us from the tyranny that has so often overtaken the governments of other countries.

I agree there, Roland. I enjoy your blog because it gives a POV often different than mine without a lot of the name calling. I just wish that there was a little more of that deliberation in congress and a little less of the my side/your side.
