UnAmerican Unpatriotic Disrepectful Donald J. Trump

Donald J. Trump has frequently said that the NFL players taking a knee to protest police brutality against minorities and racial inequality during the national anthem before a game is unAmerican, unpatriotic, and disrespectful.

"He (Trump) has criticized players who have kneeled as unpatriotic and disrespectful to military members, even as players have described the gesture as a means of protesting police brutality and systemic issues of racial inequality."

Twitler Trump has even suggested that NFL players who refuse to stand for national anthem 'shouldn't be in the country.'

Interesting, eh?

Well, how about the disrespect displayed by Donald J. Trump of a war hero, a former Congressman, a two-time contender for President of the United States of America, and a sitting U.S. Senator?

"John S. McCain, the proud naval aviator who climbed from depths of despair as a prisoner of war in Vietnam to pinnacles of power as a Republican congressman and senator from Arizona and a two-time contender for the presidency, died on Saturday at his home in Arizona."

Unpresidential Twitler Trump proved himself to be unAmerican, unpatriotic, and disrepectful when he failed to follow traditional American Presidential protocol upon the death of Senator John McCain.

I refer you to the following articles contained within each the embedded links of their respective ritles:

Not adhering to the time-honored practice of lowering the American flag for the traditionally accepted time-frame upon the death of such a distinguished American as was John McCain is far, far worse and more insulting to all veterans than the NFL football players taking a knee during the national anthem.

NEVER FORGET THE DISRESPECT THAT DONALD J. TRUMP DISPLAYED TOWARD THE TRUE AMERICAN HERO AND PATRIOT SENATOR JOHN McCAIN!!!

Toledo, Ohio. Lucas County. Adam Roland Hansen.

Toledo, Ohio is very fortunate to have Adam Roland Hansen as its native son. Indeed, both the City of Toledo, Ohio and the entire Lucas County region could really move forward if the local governmental entities would cash in on all the talents that Adam Roland Hansen has to offer.

It was 45 years ago today, back on July 31, 1973, when I first met Adam face to face. In my humble opinion, I think Adam Roland Hansen is the greatest!

I have written often about Adam Roland Hansen on my other blog, Roland's Ramblings.

Some folks may say I am prejudiced in favor of Adam; but, I say I am just the proud father of a very accomplished, talented, intelligent, and wonderful man. Adam is a real, honest, decent human being. More people should emulate him. The world would be a far better place for it.

In closing, I want to give a shout out to my son, Adam Roland Hansen, of whom I could not be more proud:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ADAM!

What has happenened to America?

There was a time when political discourse in the United States of America was civil. While rancorous at times, political disagreements were, for the most part, expressed in a mutually respectful manner.

Nowadays, we have a name-calling occupant in the Executive Office of The White House who disparages, mocks, and belittles people, regularly and consistently lies to the American public citing all unfavorable reports of him as fake news, personally attacks in an extremely vicious manner anyone and everyone who dares to disagree with him, -- and more. There seems to be no standard of cordiality, civility, honesty, and truthfulness for this disgrace of an American. And yet, he is the role-model being vigorously and passionately promoted by many Americans. Is this the type of person Americans want as a role model for our children? Is this truly what we want our children to emulate?

Take a time trip back in American history to July 4, 1957.
"On July 4, 1957, at approximately 9:05 a.m., a voice beamed out of transistor radios across New York City. The speaker — a young senator with a Boston accent — began reading the Declaration of Independence. It was John F. Kennedy."
Atttribution: Michael S. Rosenwald (Enterprise reporter focusing on history, the social sciences, and culture), The Washington Post, July 4, 2018.
