Rebirth. Easter. Jews.

The Dalai Lama once said:
“Whether one believes in a religion or not, and whether one believes in rebirth or not, there isn't anyone who doesn't appreciate kindness and compassion.”

Today is April 16, 2017. I read on an internet web page, "This year Orthodox Christians and the Catholics are celebrating Easter on the same day – but this is not always the case." Follow the embedded link in its title to read the entire article Why Orthodox Easter is the Same Day as Catholic Easter This Year.

I also read the following on the internet:
"What is the true meaning of Easter Sunday? Why does the date of Easter change every year? What is the Golden Number and how is Easter calculated? Why are eggs associated with Easter? Here are some answers from The Old Farmer’s Almanac."
Open this embedded link to read the entire article.

There are alot of "tweets" on Twitter that mention Easter Sunday. Read them here, if you wish.

On my other blog, Roland's Ramblings, back on  April 24, 2011, I wrote something that is also true this year when I scribed "Today is still part of the week-long Pesach, aka the Jewish Passover." I entitled that entry Easter Ham and Jews that you can read also, if you are so inclined.
